Words of Wisdom Writers Society, or wowws, is a discussion and critique group that has provided literary support to writers of all genres and levels since 1999. Members meet frequently on and offline to discuss and share information, ideas, news, tips and advice relating to the writing industry.
wowws began in August 1999 as a writer’s discussion and critique group, with five members,
a different name, and an uncertain future ahead. Membership fluctuated but growing
pains and growing gains held the society together.
Amazingly, the design of the group has proven extraordinary—a collage of ideas, artistry, talent, the right dosages of humor and very diverse views and professionals—the make-up of more than a mere writer’s group, rather a writer’s society!
